I use these to keep on track with making sure that I have covered the whole syllabus. This a great visual reminder for students of what they can aim for and to check that they are successful at the close of the lesson. At the end of the lesson I reread the I can statement, we discuss what we have learned and decide together with a thumbs up or thumbs down as to whether we are successful.
