A series of 3-4 lessons aimed at familiarizing learners with an original literary text. The text the activities are based on is Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The initial lesson focuses on the 5 young main characters and the the following ones on Veruca Salt through drama activities, aiming at experiential learning.

Fractions: Adding & Subtraction Lessons with Assessments
Adding and Subtracting Fractions is a Common Core aligned unit for adding and subtracting various fractions. Included is 2 five day Prezis with homework worksheets. The Prezis include step by step process in order to arrive at the correct answer. There are three assessments with answer key. Assessments are aligned with the Prezis and students can use these as a guide in order to increase their comprehension of the material. All of this is included in the download.

This was used for high school EFL students as an introduction to summarizing non-fiction texts. It is likely too brief for native English speaking students, but I made this to explain the basics to my students, who struggle with understanding the difference between copying and summarizing.
