FREE Word Web - Developing New Vocabulary

I use this in my 6th grade classroom to help students with new vocabulary usage for their essays. We put a word in the center that we should NOT use anymore (ex: Good, Cool, Fun) and replace it with a better word in our web clusters (ex: Extraordinary, Exhilarating, Terrific...) They love this activity because they realze how many words they actually know, but forget to use in their writing. Can be used with any grade in your own way!
