Astrophysics For Young People In A Hurry by Neil deGrasse Tyson is a wonderful resource to use in addition to any integrated science program. There is an edition available of the book available for Young Readers that is simply perfect for middle school readers.I like to break the book up into section of 3 chapters each. The chapters are smaller than average, and it is a good number of pages for the student to read over a 1–2-night period.
