This posting is a set of SmartBoard slides to be used at the beginning of the year. It includes a slide asking the class what they think the rules of the room should be, where you can write their responses. Then on the next slide, there is a chart with three columns titled Respect Yourself, Respect Others, and Respect the Environment along with moveable sentences telling common rules the kids usually come up with, such as "Don't hit."
