This audio recording of one of my favorite books SNOWMEN AT NIGHT by Caralyn and Mark Buehner is read to "Waltz of the Snowflakes" by Tchaikovsky. I have used the entire piece of music by leaving space at the end of the book to ask the question "What do YOU think snowmen do when we are not watching?"

Kids and teachers equally love the animal song and it has become a favorite for many. The children have fun as they imitate the different sounds of the animals in the song. I hope you and your students enjoy the song too and have fun as well!

This original singing game is a fun way to assess singing abilities! One student sits in the middle of the circle with eyes covered while the remainder of the class sings and passes Sidney's carrot nose from one student to the next. At the end of the verse, the student in the middle sings "Who has my nose?" (s-m-l-s-m) The student who has the nose sings "I have your nose!" Is a lively and fun Spanish song about the five little monkeys jumping in the bed. This song is lively and easy to catch on to. Students and teachers alike will enjoy the rhythmic and Latin beat of this song.
I normally tell the story in Spanish first before introducing the song. Once students are familiar with the story and the repetitions it is much easier to learn the lyrics of the song.
