This is a useful way to learn all your students names in a quick and fun way. The nametag helps create associations which aide in memory and the extensions within the lesson reinforce these associations to both the students and teacher. When setting up a positive classroom atmosphere, learning each others names and being comfortable is the first step. These work for all students in all grades and classes so its very flexible and easy to use.
