Project Based Learning: I'm an Architect!
This is a project-based learning activity based on the books, Iggy Peck, Architect and Roberto, the Insect Architect. The students will read the stories and respond to text-dependent questions on the reader response graphic organizers. Then they will learn about famous architecture from around the world, and follow the design process to create their own detailed blueprints. You could also extend this activity into a STEM project, by having the students build their designs.
