This is a packet created to help your students in writing a persuasive essay for standardized tests. A tip sheet, an organizational or planning chart, a checklist, and two pages of lined sheets are included. I teach students to follow the steps on the tip sheet in order to write essays for the FCAT in Florida, which is currently an one hour test. I think it helps them to remember that an essay is a series of links, just like a linked chain, connected by ideas. So, a chain is on this sheet.
