Use these Coin Bubble Maps to review or assess students on identifying U.S. coins including, pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. We learn about coins in February while we are talking about Presidents' Day. It is a great chance to tie in Math and Social Studies together. Students start off with an internet scavenger hunt to activate prior knowledge and gain basic facts. Students then work through four hands on lessons that help them understand how a fossil is formed and the differences between the main types of fossils.
