This is a good activity for Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade students who are still working on number sense. Jenga Subtraction Answer Sheet for Mental Math Jenga

"Get To Know Me" Math First Days
This is a work sheet that involves students answering questions about themselves in relation to numbers. Some questions build upon each other. These are math I can statements that you can use to check off once students have mastered them.
Expanded Form Math Center (Hundreds)
I use these as a math center for my first graders. I laminate both sheets, and cut out the numbers. I store the numbers in a soap box container. Students draw a number and write the expanded form of that number using a dry erase marker. You could also use this as a hand out. This is fairly easy for most of my first graders, but could also be used with second and lower third graders.

Fast Facts Review: +0, +1, +2, +10, Doubles, and Complements of 10
In order to increase students' confidence in addition facts, I always started by teaching one trick at a time. I began with +0, then +1, then +2, then doubles, and then complements of 10.
