I wanted to create "no-prep" story activities that highlighted historical figures for Black History Month and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. My students are already familiar with amazing people like Harriet Tubman and Rosa Parks, so I wanted to introduce them to even more influential people to broaden their Black History knowledge (see below figures that were chosen).
