Rounding Made Easy- Round to the NEAREST 100
Rounding can be very tough, especially for ESE and ESOL students. The number line helps, but is even more helpful when you make it into number hills. Explain it to students as if they are dropping the ball on a number with "the 5's" at the top and "the 0's" at the bottom. Anything before 5 rolls back and after 5 rolls forward. And of course if it lands on the 5's it would technically not move, but let's face it, everyone wants to roll to more, not less, so the 5's roll forward. Use the included

Students will show the distances of the inner planets from the sun compared to each other. Decimals Review
This document reviews 5 Common Core and Florida Standards. I use this paper as morning work and write 2 decimals on the blanks. Then each day, students complete the tasks required. I write answers on the back of the paper and review before each Math class. Hope you find this a useful tool to continuously review the math standards.
