Hexagonal Snowflakes

This simple fun lesson is used to reinforce reflective symmetry and to introduce construction of a hexagon in a circle, as well as rotational symmetry. This is first time that students touch a compass in my course and a good portion of the class time is working with the students on operating a compass and constructing an almost regular hexagon.
