This reader's theater was written for four students. It is based on an incident that happened 11 years prior to Rosa Parks. Mr. Robinson was asked to move from his seat on a desegregated army bus and, when he refused, it led to a court marshal. Jackie Robinson was given an honorable discharge just a few months later. It was written to use for students during Black History Month but can be used any time. I write them for small groups to help with fluency.
