Seitaikei

Seitaikei (Say-ee ta-ee kay-e) means ecosystem in Japanese. It is an ecosystem model wrapped up in a game. The players take on the roles of two keystone species and play to take and keep resources in the ecosystem. There are various movements that directly relate to different types of ecological relationships. As students play the game, they will use the various vocabulary terms and concepts in context to the game itself. The document has enough materials to set up two games at once.
