George Orwell (Eric Arthur Blair) Research Activity and Script Writing Project
Eric Arthur Blair (who wrote under the pseudonym George Orwell) was born on June 25, 1903. He was a famous English novelist, essayist and writing critic. He became known for his novels Animal Farm (1945) and Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949). Both books focus on an anti-utopian society and the dangers of totalitarian rule.
