My rationale for conducting this IB unit project is to connect math and science. I wanted my students to understand that math is the universal language and basis of scientific communication. Students will communicate and reason as they solve real-life problems. This project introduces positive and negative integer relationships and proportional reasoning through scientific inquiry.
