This story is about Ruby Bridges told from the perspective of children living during that time. It was written for Black History Month. To be used with a read aloud about Martin Luther King Jr., such as "I Have a Dream" or "My Brother Martin". Students list as many character traits as they can on Martin Luther King Jr., then construct a paragraph using information from the text.
