This giant coordinate plane helps students learn to graph ordered pairs and visualize the origin. Format was created on Microsoft Word. This download has numbers zero through three, but it is editable to enlarge or duplicate and add more numbers. I tape this one to the floor (about one square tile apart) and my students graph with whole body movements. The kids love jumping to graph. Once mastered, they enjoy quizzing each other with ordered pairs and graphing larger numbers around the room. It

Caterpillar Run

This is a short activity I designed with 2-4 year olds in mind. You can have the children place spring colored candies, counters, or pom-poms on the caterpillar outlines. I chose to color and laminate 1 with Velcro attached and I have the children match colored pom-poms to each circle and then they can write the number with a vis-a-vis. This activity can be used to address counting, long and short, color matching, and texture (if using pom-poms). It can easily be an independent activity for

If they do not match, the cards are flipped back over and the it's the next person's turn. Students play until all the cards are gone. The student with the most in her pile, is the winner.

Rolling For Time Dice Game

This is a game I made for my students to play within their unit on telling time. This is a partner game that requires students to have 3 dice which they take turns rolling. Each time they roll they record it on the corresponding column (roll 1, 2 or 3) and then write what time they have "rolled" in the corresponding column. Then students have to make the correct time on the blank clock in its corresponding column. Finally, students have to write in words what time it is, using time vocabular

If you can make that time on a clock you can move to the spot. This is only a paper board game that you can print. You will need dice and manipulative clock to play the game. Please check out my other products and leave feedback. I have a great math board game for 1st - 3rd grade - http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/D-Lewis

A math game in which players destroy each others' cars with arithmetic, measurement, and dice. Players put their cars on the table. They point their cars where they want to go, roll a die to determine speed (distance in that turn), and if they hit another car, their speed determines the damage done to the other car. Last man standing wins. Optional rules allow defeated players to stay in the game. This is just a set of rules and list of materials. I've played this with my class, and ki
