"Name That Instrument!" SB Orchestra Game - Elementary Music - Use for Sub Plan!
This is an easy-to-use SMART BOARD game for assessing how well your young and older students can recognize instruments by sight. It reinforces the four families of instruments (woodwinds, brass, strings, percussion) and the names for the individual instruments. This is a Smart Notebook file.

Pass the Pumpkin Song/Game with Orff Arrangement for Smart Boards

This game is for your smartboard for music classes. This reviews all kinds of instruments, dynamics, notes, etc.... It is kind of like koosh ball, but we call it whack a mole. Rhythm Ice Cream Truck - Easy Version - Elementary Music Game - Smart Board
“Rhythm Ice Cream Truck” is a Smart Notebook game that assesses your students’ knowledge of different rhythms. This only works using SMART Notebook software. I use this for first and second grade to help them solidify their understanding, and in 3rd as a review before I add more complicated rhythms.

ZAP! is my students' favorite game. I love it too, because I can use it to quiz them on anything. Simply divide your class into two groups (or more) and ask one group a question of your choosing. Thumbs Up Thumbs Down Solfege Pattern Game: Level 3
In this SMART notebook file, the teacher will click on the link on each page, and a recorded solfege pattern played on the piano (in the key of D+) will sound. Students simply show you which pattern they hear by giving you a thumbs up or down! A nice, easy informal assessment to see quickly who "has it"!
