Fact and Opinion I Have, Who Has
In this “I Have, Who Has” game students will identify the difference between a fact and an opinion. Cut each box into cards and laminate.
Pass out all the cards to students. Keep one card for you to start with. You can read the “Who has” part on your card to get the game started. This is a set of 24 cards that have cause and effect.
I have used them as a class game. Each student gets a card and they each need to find their partner. I have then explain who is the casue, and who is the effect and using a conjunction.
It could also be used as a small group activity, or have students work in partners to make matches.
