This is an activity that allows students to work together. It is focused around the short story "The Circuit." It can be incorporated in a unit of similar themes, characters, or stories. The story is included. I used this as a pre-reading exercise. I have students to complete the questions before reading the story. There is a word search with key at end of lesson - this is usually how I start the lesson. The key to the word search also includes definitions. The activity could take 1-3 days
