This activity was designed to practice order of operations with my Pre-Algebra students. Both positive and negative integer operations are used. There are 18 pinwheels. In the center of each pinwheel is an integer. Around the outside of the pinwheel are 6 different problems. Order of Operations Station Activity! (PEMDAS)

8 stations! 8 problems at each station! All problems #1 - 4 are problems requiring two steps, #5 - 6 require three steps, and #7 - 8 require four steps. Solving Multi-Step Equations Game

Glue the game board to a vanilla folder and cut the game cards out. Place students in groups of 2-6. Students work out the problem and move according to the solution. Ex. If the solution is 2 move up 2, if the solution is -3 move back 3. Every person in the group should work out the problem and students will should get the same answer. If the do not get the same answer they will talk to see whose right/wrong. ( They get competitive and they don’t want someone to move incorrectly.)
