A one class activity to assess rainbow order with students. Can tie in the story, How The Crayons Saved The Rainbow by Monica Sweeney (many options in digital format/read alouds). After listening to the story students can review the correct rainbow order and then complete the activity with coloring utensils of the teachers choice, or watercolors. Editable Pot of Gold Sight Word Search
Just in time for St. Patrick's Day! I use this search in my Write the Room literacy center. First hang up the pot of gold sight words around your classroom. Then have your students match the number and write the sight word. The kids really enjoy hunting for the sight words all over the room.
