TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught Elementary General (Classroom) music for eight years. I teach grades K-6 once every four days. I direct the 5th and 6th grade choirs, the Orff ensemble, and the school musical. I also work with two part time learning support classes weekly, who brighten my day when they enter the room. In the evenings, I run a private violin and viola studio out of my home. I am certified as a K-12 Principal as well, so I work to incorporate reading, writing, and cross curricular skills into my lessons and school-wide activities. Check out my blog at: http://trebleintheclassroom.blogspot.com/

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach in a very active, hands-on manner. I also enjoy incorporating technology into my lessons. I have my masters in music education with an emphasis in Orff Schulwerk.
