The Classroom Under the Stairs

I am a Gifted and Talented teacher in New Mexico at the elementary level. Although this is my third year as an "official" teacher, I taught in a preschool for two years as well as many, many hours volunteering in Sunday School and Elementary School classes.

I am a very "off the wall" teacher. My ideas are always "go big or go home"! I love doing projects with my students that really push their way of thinking. Everything is always hands on and far from ordinary in my class!

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, an Associates of Science in Biology, and am certified for both Gifted education and Science in New Mexico.

I am a proud mom of 3 and a nerd to the max. I love everything that has to do with books, movies, and video games. I love to be silly and am not afraid to try something new.
