TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm in my 15th year of teaching second grade. I taught at a National Blue Ribbon School for 13 years. I recently moved to a brand new school and it has been a wonderful experience. I simply love second grade and I am extremely blessed to have spent my 15 year career with an age group that I love so dearly.

MY TEACHING STYLE

If I had to pick one word to describe my teaching style, it would be "eclectic." I use a little of everything!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I haven't earned any well known, big time awards, but I have received awards from my school administration and colleagues over the years including a few 212 Awards and recognition for outstanding achievement.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I hold a B.A. in Art History and a M.A. in Teaching.
