Student-centered direct instruction with critical and layered higher-order questioning, while modeling passion and scholarship and creating opportunities for meaningful performance-based assessment. The larger purpose behind learning comes first, as concepts for life and the larger world that can relate to anyone are at the heart of meaningful lessons. I strive to create the space and opportunities for students to become passionate, life-long learners who progress into colleges and careers beyond high school with real purpose and drive to make a positive difference.
