Math Keys

I currently teach 8th grade Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1. My past experience teaching Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and Algebraic Connections has taught me the importance of breaking down the foundational concepts to better prepare students for the future.

It is my hope to provide a safe learning environment that promotes inquiry allowing students to make deeper connections among concepts. Group work, puzzles, and games tend to work best for me in the classroom!

I have a Bachelor of Mathematics and a Master’s of Secondary Education.

I am married and have two almost grown children. My hobbies include being the school robotics coach and flipping furniture:)
