Marcelle's KG Zone

I am an Early Childhood Teacher and have been teaching Pre-KG, Preschool and Kindergarten classes since 1996. I've spent the last 7 years in the middle east teaching Junior and Senior Kindergarten classes in International English Schools.

My personal style of teaching is hands-on, active learning and learning through the arts. I use a theme based, project based and webbing philosophy to integrate learning in my classrooms. I am especially fond of a theme based web approach and tie in all core academic subject with one major theme or idea. I primarily use centers and small group activities to facilitate learning in my classrooms and reach every student.
