TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hi everyone, I'm Mandy. I'm currently an elementary school principal in Florida. Before becoming a principal, I was an assistant principal for 4 years, an instructional coach before that, and I taught 3rd and 4th grade for 8 years prior to that. I think it's important to stay relevant and grounded, which is why I still love creating resources.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I prefer a hands-on approach to education, where students get the opportunity to see for themselves the why's and how's of what they are learning. I LOVE literacy and math stations, and allow students to move around the room freely during these stations. I believe students need to be accountable for their own learning.
