TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught French and Spanish at the middle school and high school levels for seven years, and worked as a high school instructional coach for three years. I was the a Program Manager for a University K-14 global education outreach and service learning program, and taught a global education service learning experience to undergraduate students for nine years. I am currently an Online Learning Coordinator for a University health equity program. One of my passions is teaching with technology!

-November Best Technology Practice; chosen by school technology specialist for use of ePals project. -Winner of the NC-AATF Concours Pedagogique 2008 lesson plan contest to be published in the bulletin. -Certificate of Honor from The American Association of Teachers of French (AATF); awarded for students high placement on the National French Exam -Recognition of Outstanding Achievement from The Chapel Hill- Carrboro Board of Education; recognized for students high placement on both The National French Exam and The National Spanish Exam.
