TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Marti has been teaching in a 3rd - 5th Grade instructional special education classroom for almost seven years. The students in her classroom have a variety of learning styles and are absolutely a lot of fun! Anna is a 2nd Grade teacher in a 1:1 iPad classroom. She loves finding new and fun ways to engage her students using technology and decorating and organizing her classroom to make it a warm and welcoming space!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Learning should be engaging and fun! We strive for hands on learning and a classroom climate where all students feel a sense of belonging and success.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Our biggest honor is watching our students feel successful and believe they can do great things.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Marti has a M.A.T. (Masters of Arts in Teaching) from National Louis University and LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist) certification as well as a B.F.A. (Bachelors in Fine Art) from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Anna has a Masters in Elementary Education from Indiana University. She has student teaching experience in New Zealand as well as near Indianapolis. In addition, she holds a bachelors degree in International Business from Illinois State University.
