Teach students to produce a 60-second video covering 4+ school events/announcements for the week ahead to broadcast at school or on the school's social sites!
Use this project over and over again to keep your student body in the loop and to give your student reporters an opportunity to inform.
This is a fun, engaging way to broadcast school announcements or cool things happening on your campus. Everything you need is included in this unit, from the lesson plan to presentation, script template, planning document, project guide, and rubric!
The project is paced for 4 days: 1 day for the unit overview and story selections, 1 day to script and record, 2 days to edit. The video can be produced with a camera and editing software or a phone/device and simple editing app.
