What educators are saying

I use this assignment as a photo challenge for my yearbook students. It gets them out of their comfort zone taking photos and practicing their skills. They choose their best photo and we enter it into a contest with either the staff or student body selecting their favorite photo.

Description

When spring is around the corner, my students are always begging to go outside. I always want them to have a specific purpose for what we do in class, so I came up this little project for them to practice their photography and editing skills. On presentation day, you will certainly enjoy seeing the results!!

We also have to meet certain fine arts requirements for credit, and this project satisfies those for the course authentication. Excellent also for a fun Earth Day project for your digital media classes.
