What educators are saying

Actually used these for an after lunch "do now" instead of morning meeting, great way to have students walk in and be occupied
My students absolutely love this. They are engaged with each other. We begin our day with a slide to discuss through. It has helped my students become better communicators both in speaking and listening. Thank you!

Description

This is a set of 225 Paperless Morning Meeting Slides for 2nd and 3rd Grade from Education to the Core!

Just project and GO! Whether it's when your students are first entering the classroom in the morning or signing onto your distance learning platform, these are sure to be a hit with your students! (and parents!)

Forty-five weeks of slides with a different theme each day of the week:

  • Math Monday
  • Task Card Tuesday
  • Word Work Wednesday
  • Three Things Thursday
  • Feelings Friday

Why Morning Meeting?

  • Builds Community: Help build the foundation of a strong classroom and reduce behavior struggles by building a community of learners.
  • Starts Each Day with Intention: A set intention to begin each day will help get students started on the right foot for a great day.
  • Less Paper/Less Prep: There is a digital option means no paper (go green!) and no prep!
  • Builds Listening/Speaking Skills: The morning meeting structure encourages active listening and speaking skills.
  • Encourages Cooperative Learning: These daily routines encourage cooperative learning among students, which also helps build community.
  • Helps to Establish Consistent Expectations and Routines: A daily Morning Meeting will help build a consistent routine that students thrive upon.
  • Encourages Higher Level Thinking: Prompts go deeper than surface-level thinking and encourage thoughtful discussion and higher level thinking.
