Description

Use this Writing Process Chart to keep track of where your students are in their writing process. Perfect for classroom teaching aids, this chart helps students visualize the flow of the writing process while teaching them what’s involved with each step along the way. This resource includes a color and a black and white version.

How I use it in the classroom:

I made a poster version of this and its currently displayed in our writing center. I also made individual copies and laminated them for my students. They use this everyday during their independent writing. During our writing conferences, I ask them to bring their bookmarks with them so they can tell me more about where they are in their writing. I love how this bookmark holds them accountable for their progress.
