Description

Introduction to the Resource:

This resource is sure to engage all of your students in many ways and lends itself for great flexibility throughout! The resource, in length, is a total of 100 pages. Approximately half of the resource is devoted to “looking back” or reflecting on 2020 and what can be learned for future success and growth in 2021 which comprises the later half of the resource.

Section One Reflections of 2020:

This section is packed full of activities for the students to be engaged in reflecting on 2020 such as: (1) All About Me; (2) Reflections of 2020; (3) Journaling About 2020; (4) “Starring ME…;” (5) “My Biggest Wish for 2020; and many others are included.

Section Two “Top Ten” Lists of 2020:

Students, of many ages, will thoroughly enjoy this section and may even “battle it out” in discussion in regards to their answers they choose. This section is packed full of “Top Ten” and “Top Five” lists that the students are to reflect on 2020 and complete for a memory keepsake to reflect back on years from now!

Section Three Looking Forward to A Great 2021:

In section three, students begin looking forward to 2021 and planning for how it will be the best year ever for them. Some of the activities include: (1) Resolutions for 2021; (2) Short and Long Term Goals Planning Sheets and Activities; (3) the #one word for 2021 planning page and activity; (4) “A Letter to My 18-Year-Old Self”; and again many others.

Section Four Growth Mindset and Motivational Quotes:

Section Four is comprised of a set of ten of positive growth mindset and motivational posters for placement in one’s classroom while working on the memory book!Section Five Photo Props to Celebrate A New Year:

Section Five Photo Props to Celebrate the New Year:

Section Five will bring tons of smiles and laughter as these photo props are cut out and laminated for a time of memory-making and looking forward to days ahead.

Section Six Writing Prompts to Ignite Creativity:

In this section, students are presented with several thought-provoking writing prompts which will require them to be very reflective and think critically before responding. Each prompt focuses on one word to reflect upon and stir one’s creative juices!

Section Seven Writing Prompts that Invoke Gratitude:

Again, collectively, these writing prompts allow students to be thankful for many things about each of their lives and to use that gratitude to “spur them” successfully into 2021 and their future endeavors!

Section Eight Sources to Credit:

The final section of this resource provides one with a host of resources utilized and referenced in the creation of this memory book for students!
