What educators are saying

My students love using these folders during writing centers. It helps keep them focused and helps the writing process flow since they have spelling reminders and high frequency words in front of them. They don't spend as much time being "stuck" on spelling a word.
Super helpful for my lowere level struggling kiddos. They each have their own copy to keep on hand and use as needed.

Description

Are you looking for a way to foster independence and empower your students to become great writers? Then you NEED these writing folders in your classroom. These writing folders act as personal anchor charts by providing writing tools, tips and reminders to help your students develop and practice their writing skills. Writing folders provide visual support for young writers by creating an easily accessible anchor chart for them to refer to when writing. These writing office folders are a great tool for students to use during writer’s workshop, in centers or independent writing time. So easy to assemble. Just grab a manila folder, print the sheets you want, glue them in the folder and laminate. Now your students have their own “personal office.”

Writing office folders are easy to store, provide a bit of “writer’s privacy” for students, and help to develop independence as students use the writing anchor charts to assist them in writing instead of relying on teacher support. Your students will love setting up their own “personal office space” with these portable writing folders.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE: All you need to create the offices are manila folders. Glue the pages you want to use to the folders and then laminate for durability. I bought the pocket labels from the Target Dollar Spot and put one pocket on each folder after I laminated. Then each month you can change the monthly words.
