Description

This easy, no-prep activity can be used as a resource when teaching how to write directions. It can be used as a fun partner activity or a buddy class activity.

Students will draw a monster and write a set of directions as they go. They will exchange directions with another student. Each student will draw their partner's monster by following the directions. Students come together at the end to share the two drawings to see how well they did writing their own directions and following the directions of their partner.

A writing extension can be added to this activity having your students write a story about their monster.
