Description
Your students will analyze 24 different graphs to determine the Linear Equation using slope and Intercepts. This is a great activity for visual learners.
Included:
- Two sets of 24 Different Task Cards, one with QR codes and one without. The cards are designed to reinforce the concepts taught in class. Students do not need the internet to use the QR codes, but do need a mobile device with the scanner app installed.
- Student response sheets
- Additional Homework or assessment with 10 similar problems
- All answer keys
There are multiple ways to use these task cards in your classroom. Students can work alone, randomly pair up, or work in small groups. When students work in pairs or small groups, give as many task cards as there are students. This way they can help each other, work together, and each student has a task. After a few minutes, depending upon the difficulty level and your experience, each group passes their cards to the next group.
You may also set up math centers or stations with these cards, or even scatter them as in a scavenger hunt.
These cards can also be used for sorting with students determining positive slope, negative slop, undefined slope, and zero slope. If you need more ideas, please email me.
