Would You Rather? Math Prompts are a routine to use during your math block to promote mental math flexibility and math justification. Your math students will be presented with 2 choices and decide which choice is right for them by solving the computation and then explaining their decision.

Would You Rather? math prompts have multiple benefits. The first one being student choice. Students have more buy in with math activities that provide opportunities of choice. They can pull from their own prior knowledge and life experiences to make a decision.
