Description
High quality DBQ activity!
Students read primary and secondary source documents taking notes on both sides of the debate: FDR should and could have done more to help European Jews during the Holocaust.
Activity is easy-to-use and is great practice for students to methodically identify relevant evidence, sourcing information, point of view, and significance of historical documents. Worksheets include embedded scaffolds to reduce cognitive load on struggling students. I created this lesson while working on my credential and it earned me a perfect score on the PACT assessment for California teachers!
Lesson could be extended into a DBQ essay! It also goes great with my Japanese Internment Analysis, The Bomb Analysis, or save money and purchase my Bundle Package of all three!
