Description
This is a word problem rubric for 4th and 5th graders to assist with students understanding the various components of word problems instead of jumping straight into solving. There are 3 sections, drawing, writing, and answer statement and each section is out of 4 points. I have also included a template that I use with my students as long as they need it to get them in the habit of doing each of these components whenever they get a word problem.
