How do I use this product?
This product is intended to be used during your literacy block to help your students with word work. The intent is for students to learn one concept per week. At the end of the year, they would have learned a total of 40 different concepts. At the beginning of the week, teach the students the concept by using the Anchor Charts. Students will then use the Visual Notes to show what they have learned, and have a personal anchor chart for future reference. Then, the rest of the week, students can work on these Worksheets. You may assign them during a Daily 5 time for independent practice or you may decide to send it home for weekly homework. Whatever works best for you and your program. Finally, assign the quiz at the end of the week to assess what they have learned.
