Description

Teach vocabulary using Greek and Latin roots and affixes with this program organized around prefixes and suffixes every student should know.

This resource is the first of three sets. Series A includes 22 lessons, each with four to five roots and up to 25 example words appropriate for middle school students.

The intended focus in this program is on the roots themselves so that students learn the meanings and become able to decipher unknown words by using the roots as clues. Some example words are repeated as they use multiple Greek or Latin roots and affixes.

What's Included for each lesson

• Slideshow presentation to introduce the roots, their meanings, and example words with illustrated definitions

• Interactive foldable study aid for student notebooks

• Printable flashcards for study or classroom review games

• Assessments for each lesson and periodic reviews
