What educators are saying

This was a great compare and contrast resources after reading Wonder. It was aligned with the standards.
I read Wonder to my 3rd grade class this year. We've spent the last couple of days filling out some of the pages in this product before watching the movie today. We used many compare and contrast pages. Thank you for creating this resource and movie companion!

Description

Wonder Book Vs. Movie Activities

Your students can practice essential critical-thinking skills by comparing a novel to its movie representation. This *EDITABLE* 20+ page activity pack has several options for students to compare the depictions of the characters and events in R.J. Palacio's novel Wonder with the movie adaptation (in theaters Nov. 17th; on DVD most likely in the fall of 2018).

Best of all, you can customize it to suit the needs of your students because you are provided with a companion Google Drive™ (Google Slides™) copy of the handouts that can be edited AND shared digitally with students for a paperless activity.

Many of the activities can be partially filled out BEFORE viewing the movie, then completed AFTER viewing the movie. It helps your students get excited about the movie while providing educational activities.
