Description

This is a two-week-long research project to celebrate Women’s History Month! Students will create an Instagram account (via Google Slides) pretending to be an important historical figure. Students will find this engaging as they get to pick their historical figure from a long list of incredible women! Plus, they will love getting the chance to create an “Instagram account” to demonstrate their research skills!

What's Included:

- 61-page slideshow to present to students throughout the research process

- 10 bell ringers (one for each day of the project)

- a list of historical figures to pick from with biographical information

- a graphic organizer for each step of the Big6 Research Process

- a progress tracker to help students stay on track during the research process

- an "Instagram account" via Google Slides

- an anchor chart of the Big6 Research Process

- a rubric for the final project

- presentation notes: for students listening to presentations

- EVERYTHING IS EDITABLE and DIGITAL!

You will have everything you need for two weeks! No prep whatsoever! Your students will be engaged and learn how to use online databases (the resource focuses on Gale, but you can edit it for any online database).
