Winter STEM Activity 2: Build a Sled for the Slopes STEM Challenge

It’s Winter! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Challenge students to create a fast sled. Students will go through the Engineering Design Process and listen to a winter read aloud. Incorporate creativity, math skills, and building.

Winter STEM Activity 3: Ozobot Maze Activity Winter

Practice coding with Ozobots by using this Winter Maze. This is perfect for helping students concentrate on selecting the correct code, rather than worry about drawing the right lines with correct sizes. This activity allows students to problem solve. Students must simply fill in the code! Start coding in any classroom!

Winter STEM Activity 4: Build a Snowman Unplugged Coding Winter

Do you want to build a snowman? This activity is perfect for coding without a device. Students will build a snowman and review the steps to build a snowman. Students will learn how to create an algorithm!

HOW I USE THIS AS A STEM TEACHER:

I teach 360 students each week in grades K through 4th, so I created these Winter themed stem activities to be able to easily set up, use reusable materials, and need low copying!
